もうご存じの方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが… 私、約1週間後に日本の反対側に行ってきます!
I guess some of you guys already know but… I will be flying to the South America in a week!

I’ve been planning events to make the traditional Japanese culture even more interesting and enjoyable by using projector for the stages, and also organized work shops. I’d like to keep making actions to let Japan to be more familiar country toward the people who lives overseas by attractive traditional performances.

Says Mr. Takaku, the producer of this even ‘WA League’.

This year, ‘WA League’ will be touring Ecuador and Peru for the intercultural events. And together with the performers of WADAIKO (Japanese drums), TSUGARU-JAMISEN、NIHON-BUHOU (Japanese dance), I’ll be joining this group as a singer!

As you all know, I’ve been singing mostly in English since I start my singer career. So there were a lot of new awarenesses through the practices together with traditional Japanese musicians. Needless to say, I’m still on the progress of learning “Japanese singing expressions” should I say.

In Japan, majority of our generation and the younger generation, have more chances to hear J-pop or Western music in our daily life. So, as to make the performances even more interesting, I’m simply doing my best for the stages these days.

I think some of you have already watched the YouTube of ‘WA ni narou’ (Spanish Ver.) which Mr. Yuki Nara wrote for this project. And I’ll be singing this song together with the children on the other side of this planet!! Thanks to all my friends and friend’s friends for helping me write this Spanish lyrics together!! I could never sing this song with out the help of you all!!!!

日付が変わってしまいましたが、(話も突然変わってしまいますが ^^;) 8/6は日本人なら誰もが知っている日。68年前の今日、広島で世界で初めて原子爆弾が実践で使用されました。2度とこのような過ちがありませんように。
By the way, today was (it’s past midnight so the date had already changed tho-) August 6th – the day every Japanese remembers. A-bomb was used for the first time in Hiroshima 68 years ago.

I strongly wish our ‘WA’ (= links) of friendship keep spreading and motivate us toward peaceful future.

This is the main them of the original Japanese lyrics I wrote for this song.

I personally though, Spanish has very cheerful and energetic sound in its language. What would you think? (I know my singing is far from the native, but this was the best that I could before the recording) 😛

I’m sure your audience will appreciate the effort y’all put into your Spanish lyrics! I hope this trip will provide you with happiness and personal growth–but please remember to be careful and have fun! (As for 06 August, it should be an anniversary which the entire world remembers–and mourns.)

Thank you very much for all the wishes 🙂 So far, I am doing quite well, hethy and good !

Tomorrow is another memorial day, that Japan came to put an period to its WWII days. This is just my guessing but…I feel that the hopes and desire toward the world in peace got even stronger since this day.

Best wishes to you and your family too!
